Andy Lane (Me) is trying to make an effort to be visible.  Some people that know me know that I do things that many people might find interesting yet I rarely show others.  This site is my attempt to share the things I do that might be of interest to others that I may otherwise never encounter.  My main occupation is teaching art in Mount Vernon, Ohio.  I have other interests other than teaching though.  I help my wife, Katie, run an art center here in Mount Vernon.  We have been open since July of 2007 and enjoy engaging our community in art through our gallery and classes. Along with this Katie and I have been trying to help support our local community by shopping and eating locally.  I have many other interests that I am sure will become apparent through my posts on this site.. some change rather quickly and others will stick around for sometime.
